  1. This organisation will sell you a vehicle without the relevant information from you then demand the information. Or send you to another car manufacturer for repairs, tell you on the phone they can be done but on arrival they send you away

  2. I was highly impressed with salesman at citreon Hull and his level of professionalism, customer care and putting the costumer not the sale at the forefront. No sales pitch just excellent service. Highly recommend and will definitely be back despite living in another county! Thank you for brilliant service.

  3. Bought a Mini 2013 reg through the move it closer arrangement. Very quickly thereafter developed problems with gearbox, transmission and fan constantly coming on. It has been back to Evans Halshaw twice and the issues still remain to be a problem. On the first visit told that the transmission light had come on due to it not having any gearbox oil. The service team put new oil in and stated to see how it goes which we did – it remains to be difficult to put the car into certain gears and fan still comes on. The cosmetic dent that was promised to be rectified on back panel apparently cannot be done by their bodyshop person as it is double skinned?? The front grill is held by a cable tie and they cannot do anything with as the grill would not be secure?? However, why is there a cable tie there in the first place???? The car has been into service team and my wife collected it and was told they cannot find any issues and to see how it goes. I’m no expert / mechanic but a gearbox running on little or no oil would have caused damage to the components and thus caused issues??? I have now just rung again as I want to follow a complaints process – I am awaiting a call back from a manager! I do realise that cars are prone to service issues but I feel that the problems I’m facing are inherent issues that shouldn’t of happened with days of purchasing. Update – Received a call … I now have to wait 48hours for a manager to contact me to review where it needs to be escalated next – dealership manager or regional manager. I was under the impression that this has been done before!! I await what can be done next. Disgruntled

  4. The “Sell your car” service from Evans Halshaw Gloucester promised one price online but after keeping us waiting for over half an hour the actual price they offered after inspection was significantly less apparently due to some scuff marks on the alloy wheels. What do they expect on a car which is just over 5 years old? There was no breakdown as to how they arrived at the reduction. We wouldn’t mind but there isn’t a facility online to input scuff marks or the like. They weren’t interested in negotiating (hiding behind the small print in the terms and conditions) and we wouldn’t use again.

  5. While having a negative experience with Evan Halshaw in Ashton. I was hesitant to purchase a car from here. However Evan Halshaw in Blackburn were the opposite of Ashton. They were personable, understanding and showed great customer service. I had been in a no-fault claim and my car was deemed a total loss. The person I dealt with was so understanding about this and held the car for me for over two weeks (with no deposit- just verbal commitment!). He is truly an asset to this company and I would recommend you specifically ask for him if using this dealership. While he was not working when I went to pick up the car, he phoned me the previous evening and di the tax for me, when I arrived he had laid everything out for me so it only took less than 2 minutes to sign the forms and drive off! I would definitely recommend the Blackburn branch to others.
